I can’t be the only one noticing this. On Reddit, X, and even YouTube comment threads, people are constantly talking about 3i-Atlas. Thousands of posts, endless speculation, entire podcasts springing up overnight. Whether it’s fringe conspiracy or not, the conversation is clearly there. But when you flip on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, or even the nightly network news, there’s nothing. Not a mention.
Why is it that independent bloggers and internet sleuths are covering this 24/7, but the outlets with billion-dollar budgets act like it doesn’t exist? They’ll run a segment on celebrity gossip or another recycled political talking point, but not a single line about something millions of people are searching for. The blackout itself feels like a story.
Even worse, the silence feeds the conspiracies. People assume there’s something “too dangerous” to talk about, which only makes speculation spiral further. If mainstream media truly believes 3i-Atlas is nonsense, fine — then say that. Put reporters on it, debunk it, show receipts. The decision to ignore it altogether feels less like journalism and more like gatekeeping. And that’s exactly why trust in mainstream outlets is at an all-time low.
